            1 Sister:           Joan Simchick – Johnsonburg, PA

PREDECEASED BY: Parents; Husband; 9 Sisters – Eileen Chilcott, Susan Odom, Betty Jane Lindbeck, Louise “Patty” Goodreau, Beatrice Cherry, Frances Nashadka, Constance Kennedy and infants Jean and Regina Simchick.

EDUCATION: After graduating high school in 1952, Rose joined the Airforce where she served until being honorably discharged in 1958 as Staff Sergeant.

OCCUPATION: She worked six years with Anrew Kaul Memorial Hospital and retired from Powdered Metal Products after 25 years.

NOTORIETY: A member of  Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Johnsonburg Senior Center, American Legion, Wilcox Sportsmen’s Club and the Piedmonte Club of Johnsonburg. She enjoyed volunteering at the Senior Center, crocheting, reading and swimming.

OTHER RESIDENCES: Lived most of her life in Wilcox, PA

VISITATION:

The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 9 – 10 a.m. at the Ubel Funeral Home, Johnsonburg, PA

FUNERAL SERVICES:

Will be held, 10 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the funeral home with Father David Wilson.

MILITARY HONORS: Will be accorded by the Johnsonburg/Ridgway Servicemen’s Detail.  Military members are asked to assemble at the funeral home on Saturday at 9:45 a.m.

INTERMENT: Holy Rosary Cemetery
