PREDECEASED BY: Parents; Wife; 1 Daughter: Donna Witherite; 1 Daughter-in-law: Tanya Flegal.

 

MILITARY: Served in the US Army during Vietnam Era from 1961-’64.

 

OCCUPATION: Owner/Operator of Shipe Brothers upholstery with his brother Larry for ten years, Owner/Operator of Nini’s Pizza and Subs with his wife for 5 years, Stackpole Carbon for five years and the Johnsonburg Paper Mill for twelve years, retiring in 1992.

 

NOTORIETY: Baptist by faith and past member of the James W. Brown F&AM.

 

OTHER RESIDENCES: Born and raised in Ridgway, he has been a Johnsonburg resident since 1967.

 

 

VISITATION: None

The family will be receiving friends, on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 10 – 11 a.m. at the Ubel Funeral Home, Johnsonburg, PA

 

FUNERAL SERVICES:

Will be held, 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the Ubel Funeral Home, Johnsonburg, PA

 

MILITARY HONORS: Will be accorded by the Johnsonburg/Ridgway Servicemens Detail.  Military members are asked to assemble at the funeral home, Thursday, at 10:45 a.m.

 

INTERMENT: Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Ridgway, PA
