In Loving Memory of Timothy “Pizza” Pirraglia
Timothy “Pizza” Pirraglia, age 47, passed away unexpectedly, June 6, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, loyalty, and unapologetic passion for life. Born on June 2, 1978, Tim lived every moment with purpose, heart, and a glint of mischief in his eye. He embraced the world on his own terms, never compromising who he was, and fiercely defending those he loved.
A true original, Tim found joy in the thrill of the game—especially poker. He dreamed of one day sitting at the final table of the World Series of Poker, and anyone who knew him believed he could have made it. The poker table was his arena, where strategy met swagger, and every handheld the promise of victory.
Tim is survived by his mother, Wanda Ramirez of Lakeland, FL; his sister, Heather (Andy) Gayton of Lakeland, FL; his son, Marcus Pirraglia; and a host of extended family and dear friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his father, George “Pizza” Pirraglia; his stepfather, Romeo Ramirez; his grandparents, Anthony “Dent” and Dolly Pirraglia and Norman Blair Coleman and Ana Kessler; and several aunts and uncles.
Tim’s life was a bold bet—full of risk, reward, and unforgettable moments. In lieu of flowers or donations, honor his spirit by heading to your nearest casino, sitting at a poker table, and betting big—just like he would have wanted.
He played the hand he was dealt with courage and charisma, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Rest easy, Tim, the game won’t be the same without you.
There will be no public visitation.
