Sherri VanHorn Obituary

Sherri Linn VanHorn, age 57, of Hoovertown Road, Penfield, PA, died December 18, 2021 at Penn Highlands-DuBois, after a lengthy illness. A daughter of the late Joseph Fletcher and Shirley Fye of Sykesville, she was born on August 26, 1964 in DuBois, PA. On September 16, 2006 she married Jason VanHorn, who survives at home.

Along with her husband, Sherri is survived by: two children, Pamela Truesdale of DuBois and Ryan (Bethany) Hutchins of Brockport; four grandchildren, Trista, Isaiah, Adien and Kaleb; a brother, Joseph Fletcher; and a sister, Jolene Guindon.

Sherri lived most of her life in DuBois and Penfield. She was a member of the Egypt Free Methodist Church of Brockway and enjoyed crocheting and crafting.

There will be no public visitation.

Private services will be held by the family.

The family suggests memorials to the Bennetts Valley Ambulance (PO Box 48, Penfield, PA) and will be accepting online condolences at www.nedzafamilyfuneralhomes.com.

The Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield has been entrusted with final arrangements.
