Sherri Burke Obituary

Sherri Brynn Burke, age 63, of Penfield, died Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Christ the King Manor of DuBois after a lengthy illness and COVID-19 complications. A daughter of the late Richard “Dick” and Pamela (Ireland) Burke, she was born on August 14, 1957 in St. Marys, PA. On September 14, 1996 she married James Frantz who survives in Penfield.

Along with her husband, Sherri is survived by: two children, Shannon (Robert) Leonard of Penfield and Jason Petrini of Maryland; a grandson, Richard Lucore; and a sister, Kelli (Richard) Jablonski of Penfield.

Sherri worked for Prestige Delivery Services for many years, was affiliated with the Gateway Humane Society and was known for her love of animals.

She lived all her life in Penfield.

There will be no public visitation or services.

Burial will take place in the Morningside Cemetery.
