Shawn P. Shankle

Shawn P. Shankle, age 27, of Monroe Avenue, Ridgway, PA, died unexpectedly, at home, June 23, 2021.  A son of the late Mark Shankle, Sr. and Laura Lyons of Ridgway, he was born on May 25, 1994 in Butler, PA.

Along with his mother, Shawn is survived by: a son, Mark Shankle; two brothers, Mark Shankle, Jr of DuBois and Tyler Webster of Seaford, DE; two sisters, Sara Shankle of Ridgway and Ashley Shankle of Butler; and grandparents, Connie Lyons of Seaford, DE and Willie Sales of Boyers, PA.

Besides his father, Shawn was predeceased by: his grandparents, Larry Lyons and Esther Shankle; and a niece, Ava Otterman.

Shawn was born and raised in Butler, PA and lived in Ridgway the past fourteen years.  He worked with McDonalds of St. Marys for several years and most recently worked with Blue Water Thermal Solutions.

There will be no visitation.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield, PA.

Funeral Services will be held, 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Miller.
