Sharon E. “Silver” Lobaugh, age 75, of New Castle, DE, died May 29, 2024, unexpectedly at home. A daughter of the late Chester C. and Clarice E. (Reigel) Stewart, she was born on July 2, 1948 in Kane, PA.
Along with her parents, Silver was predeceased by: four sisters, Carole Chopra, Donna Moore, Patti Causer and Karen in infancy; a nephew, Kevin Causer; a niece, Cheryl Stewart Tidwell; a brother-in-law, Edward Causer; and her fur babies, Mandy and Reefie.
Silver is survived by: two sisters, Virginia Landis of Penfield, PA and Linda Reinard of Port Allegany, PA; three brothers-in-law, Omi Chopra, Burke Moore and Clifford “Skip” Mott; and numerous nieces and nephews that she considered her children.
Silver was raised in Mt. Jewett, graduated from Kane Area High School and moved to Delaware in 1974. She worked thirty years as a Toll Collector for the Delaware Department of Transportation, retiring in 2003. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed traveling to see friends and family and was the biggest cheerleader for the Phillies.
Public visitation will be held, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the Ubel Funeral Home of Johnsonburg, PA.
Funeral Services will be held, 11:00 a.m., Thursday, at the funeral home with Reverend Donald Smith.
Interment will take place in the Forest Lawn Cemetery of Kane, PA.
