Senes A. Parziale, age 95, of River Road, Weedville, PA, died Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Elk Haven Nursing Home. A son of the late Carmen and Elizabeth (Lundy) Parziale, he was born on December 3, 1928 in Weedville, PA. On June 6, 1953 he married Mern A. “Mickey” (Murphy), who survives.
Along with his wife of seventy-one years, Senes is survived by: a sister, Dolly (Rick) Crocco; a sister-in-law, Carol Parziale and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Senes was predeceased by: three brothers, Gerald, Ralph and Carmen “Dan” Parziale; and six sisters, Florence Novosat, Dorothy Moorehouse, Emma Caseman, Theresa Schneider, Rose Wendel and Virginia Gallagher.
Senes served in the US Army in the 1950’s; serving fifteen months in Frankfurt Germany and several years in the US Army Reserves. He was a Master Carpenter and was a former Owner and President of Corbett Cabinet of St. Marys for many years. Living all his life in Bennetts Valley, he was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force. He enjoyed competitive bowling, hunting, fishing and camping.
Public visitation will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield, PA.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 10:30 a.m., Monday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force, PA, with Father Mark Mastrian as celebrant.
Interment will take place in the church cemetery.
Military Honors will be accorded by the Bennetts Valley American Legion Honor Guard.
