Sandra Ann (Brechtel) Yeager

Sandra Ann Yeager, 72, of Rasselas, PA, passed away in her home December 24, 2022, following a brief illness. Born May 27, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Eugene F. and Alberta (Koslofski) Brechtel. On July 2, 1990 she married her husband, the late Regis R Yeager.

A graduate from Johnsonburg Area High School, Sandra was a member of the Holy Cross Church in Rasselas, before it closed its doors. An accomplished organ player, she traveled the world in her younger years, was remarkable with ceramics, loved horses and wildlife, playing cards, and reading, and relished spending time with family and friends.

Sandra is survived by her three children, Melissa (Albert) Wells of Rasselas, Frederick Yeager of Ridgway, and Tiffany (Chuck) Spangler of West Middlesex; 5 grandchildren: Patrick Desmond, Brandon and Matthew Ehrensberger, Destiney (Charles) Fuchs, and Robert Spangler, and one great- grandchild: Willa Desmond.

Also surviving is one sister, Susan Morris of Warren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brother Joseph Brechtel of Glen Hazel, a half-brother Eugene R. Brechtel of Johnsonburg, and a half-sister Eileen Brechtel of Erie.

At Sandra’s request there will be no viewing, and a small ceremony to celebrate her life will be held later on in the 2023 year.
