Ruth E. (Smith) Koproski

Ruth E. Koproski, age 101, of Caledonia, PA died September 17, 2022 at Pinecrest Manor after a short illness.  A daughter of the late William “Rattlesnake Bill” and Grace (Huff) Smith, she was born on November 14, 1920 in Caledonia, PA.  On July 18, 1942 she married Martin S. Koproski, who predeceased her on June 9, 1973.

Along with her parents and her husband, Ruth was preceded in death by: four sisters, Marie Gier, Dorothy Powell, Thelma Luddy and Betty Ross; and a brother, Dale Smith.

Ruth is survived by four generations of nieces and nephews.

Ruth graduated from Weedville High School and retired from Stackpole Carbon.  She was a member of the Caledonia United Methodist Church and enjoyed dancing, especially Polka dancing.  She lived all her life in Bennetts Valley until 2018 when she moved to Silver Creek Terrace.

There will be no public visitation.

Funeral Services will be held, 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 25, 2022 at the Weedville United Methodist Church, Weedville, PA, with Reverend Missy Smith.
