Roy J. Mack, Jr.

Roy J. Mack, Jr., age 63, of Front Street, Benezett, PA, died January 8, 2021 at the Mt. Laurel Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.  A son of the late Roy J. Mack, Sr and Edith Mae (Governor) Mack, he was born on October 21, 1957 in Youngstown, OH.  On April 13, 1989 he married Barbara (Motter) who survives at home.

Besides his parents, Roy was predeceased by: two brothers, Bud and Ryan Mack.

Along with his wife, Roy is survived by: three children, Deanna (Greg) Johannsen of Gulfport, MS, Roy J. (Ashley Kriner) Mack, III of DuBois and Colt (Kara) Mack of Pittsburgh; four grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and five sisters, Mary Snider of Benezett, Margaret Mack of Reynoldsville, Klareen Sebbio of Warren, OH, Shelly (Thomas) Bienz of King George, VA, Betty (John) Kammerdiener of Jamestown, PA.

Roy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and lived all his life in Benezett.  He retired from Molded Materials and Motion Control after twenty five years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles and working on motorcycles for himself and others.

There will be no public visitation.

A public Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force, PA with Father Mark Mastrian.

Interment will take place in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery of Benezett.

The family suggests memorials to the Bennetts Valley Ambulance and will be accepting online condolences at www.nedzafamilyfuneralhomes.com.

The Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield has been entrusted with final arrangements.
