Roseann (Carpin) Liptak

Roseann Liptak, age 70, of Weedville, PA, died at home on July 22, 2022 after an illness of several months.  A daughter of the late Charles and Aileen (Cameroni) Carpin, she was born on August 28, 1951 in DuBois, PA.  On April 29, 1972 she married Duane Liptak, Sr., who survives at home.

Along with her husband, Roseann is survived by: two children, Duane (Jamie) Liptak, Jr., of Wimberley, TX and Deana (Vincent) Feidler of North Canton, OH; six grandsons; and two sisters, Charlene (David) Liptak of Weedville and Tracey Phillips of Troutville, PA.

Besides her parents, Roseann was predeceased by: her father-in-law, Fredric Liptak.

A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force, Roseann lived all her life in Bennetts Valley.  She received her Degree from the Altoona Hospital School of Nursing.  She worked as a Nurse for DuBois Hospital and the Hahne Cancer Center for many years.  She enjoyed cooking, jewelry making, painting and tutoring elementary students.

Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. and also on Thursday, from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield, PA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force, PA with Father Mark Mastrian.

Interment will take place in the St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
