Ronald A. Smith, age 51, of Hickory Avenue, Weedville, PA, died unexpectedly, at home, November 15, 2021. A son of Ralph and Regina (Merat) Smith of Weedville, he was born on June 15, 1970 in Ridgway, PA. On July 19, 2001 he married Lynn A (Kunes), who survives at home.
Along with his wife and his parents, Ron is survived by: a son, Matthew Bryant of Weedville; a brother, Charles (Tracy) Smith of Weedville; and a sister, Melissa (Randy) Holben of Reynoldsville.
Living most of his life in Bennetts Valley, Ron graduated from St. Marys Are High School. He served in the Navy for five years, including two tours in Desert Storm. He owned and operated Consolidated Technologies and Rocket Valley Motorsports of Weedville. He loved racing, his friends, and especially his family.
Public visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2021 and 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2021 at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield, PA.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, at the Funeral Home with Pastor Bryon Kleppinger.
Interment will take place in the Gardner Hill Cemetery of Weedville.
