Roger Zilkofski, 81, of Elk Haven Nursing Home, formerly of Penn St., Johnsonburg, PA, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2022 at Elk Haven after a brief illness. He was born in Kane on April 28, 1941 to the late Robert and Frances (McAlee) Zilkofski.
On July 14, 2001 he married Carolyn (Donachy) who survives. Roger was a member of the Holy Rosary Church and a 1960 graduate of Johnsonburg HS. He worked at Keystone Carbon for 18 years. He also worked at Dickinson Mental Health for a number of years.
Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping at Twin Lakes and especially going to camp. He also enjoyed going for rides in the area and going to Erie for the weekend. He was a member of the Johnsonburg Legion and the Wilcox Sportsmen’s.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 5 sons: David (Jean), Michael (Terri), Donald (Tracy), Mark (Wendy) and Daniel, 2 stepsons Matthew and his wife and Jeffrey (Jenn Huber) Schatz, a stepdaughter Debbie (John Naglish) Schatz, 8 grandchildren, Wayne, Kassie, Kadie, Andrew, Zachary, Kristen, Abie and Clayton and 8 step great-grandchildren.
