Richard A. Eckenroth

Richard A. Eckenroth, age 71, of Treasure Lake, died Tuesday, November 05, 2024 at Penn Highlands in DuBois. A son of the late Harry W. and Norma (Dale) Eckenroth, he was born on April 23, 1953 in Bellefonte, PA. He married Karen (Muth) Eckenroth, who survives.

Along with his wife, Richard is survived by: a son Morgan Eckenroth, Ridgway, a step-son Brandon (Jessica) Kowalski, Weedville, a step-daughter Ericka (Roger) Nussbaum, Jr., Weedville, a sister Lisa (Howard) Grove, Bellefonte, a brother Scott (Cindy) Eckenroth, St. Mary’s, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

After graduating high school, Richard went on to college where he received his Masters in Counseling. He previously worked as a Quality Manager at SD&R Machining in Ridgway. He was a free and excepted mason with the Driftwood / Emporium Lodge #532. He enjoyed golfing, watching NASCAR and football and was an avid Penn State Fan. Any free time “Papa Honey” had was spent with his grandkids.

At Richards request, there will be no visitation of services.
