Rexford L. Woodring

Rexford L. Woodring, age 87, of Clarion, died September 12, 2024 at the Clarion Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.  A son of the late Rexford and Nila (Beldin) Woodring, he was born on April 29, 1938 on Winslow Hill in Benezette, PA.  On April 27, 1961 he married Carol (McCluskey), who survives in Clarion.

Along with his wife, Rex is survived by: a daughter, Rebecca Seaton; four grandchildren; a brother, William Woodring; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Rex was predeceased by: two children, David and Jeffrey Woodring; a brother, Floyd Woodring; and two sisters, Wanda Woodring and Shirley Alvino.

Rex served in the US Army and worked for Keystone Carbon for many years.  He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and lived most of his life in Bennetts Valley.  He enjoyed baking and was well known for his woodcrafts.

There will be no public visitation.

Private services will be held by the family.

Interment will take place in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Winslow Hill, Benezette, PA.
