Patricia V. (Gerhard) Harrison

Patricia V. Harrison, 84, of Dents Run, PA, died, Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the Guy and Mary Felt Manor of Emporium, after a lengthy illness.

The only daughter of the late Frank and Bertha (Fornel) Gerhard, she was born on March 17, 1933 in Medix Run, PA.

Besides her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph L. Harrison on July 22, 2015 and a son-in-law, Randy Manners.

She is survived by three children: Harry “Chip” (Maxine) Harrison of Gaines, PA, Susan Manners of Dents Run, and Rita Harrison of Punxsutawney, PA; a grandson, Charles (Miriah) Manners and a great-granddaughter, Katherine Manners.

Patti was a graduate of Benezette School, a member of the Weedville Wesleyan Church and enjoyed hunting and gardening.  She worked as a Rural Mail Carrier through the Driftwood Post Office for 25 years. She was born and raised in Medix Run and lived in Dents run from 1955 until 2017 when she went to reside in the Guy and Mary Felt Manor of Emporium.

There will be no visitation.  Private services will be held by the family at a later date. Interment will take place, next to her husband, in the Hicks Run Cemetery.
