Patricia Mary "Pat" Blashaw

Patricia Mary “Pat” Blashaw, 88, Johnsonburg, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2025 at home surrounded by family. She was born December 11, 1936; a daughter of the late William A. & Winifred I. (Conneen) Mahoney. She married Donald L. “Hank” Blashaw on October 13, 1956; he preceded her in death in 2017.

She is a graduate of Johnsonburg H.S. In addition to previously working as a secretary for Elk County General and Stackpole; Patricia was a homemaker and loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family.

Patricia is survived by five children, David (Karen) Blashaw of Johnsonburg, Daniel (Lisa) Blashaw of Johnsonburg, Karen (Kevin) Ondriezek of Port Saint Lucie, FL., Robert (Melinda) Blashaw of Rock Springs, WY and William (Terri) Blashaw of Johnsonburg; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and two brothers, Leo and William Mahoney.

Patricia was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Johnsonburg. She enjoyed spending time at the Johnsonburg Senior Center, helping with Meals on Wheels, crocheting and reading.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister Lorena Hoh and three brothers, Joseph, Gerald and Jack Mahoney.

Patricia lived all her life in Johnsonburg area, but was known to spend some winters in Brandon, FL with her husband.

There will be no visitation.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

The family suggests memorials to the Johnsonburg Senior Center or the Johnsonburg Library and will be accepting online condolences at the Ubel Funeral Home website (www.nedzafamilyfuneralhomes.com).

Heaven received a new Angel on October 4, 2025; Patricia Mary “Pat” Blashaw of Ridgway Johnsonburg Road went to see her Lord and Savior. She was welcomed by her husband, family and friends.
