Mary H. (McDivitt) Dickinson

Mary H. Dickinson, age 81, of High Street, Johnsonburg, PA, died May 1, 2024 at Elk Haven Nursing Home.  The daughter of the late Cleave and Theresa (Knopic) McDivitt, she was born on April 1, 1943 in Ridgway, PA.  On August 11, 1973 she married Dennis J. Dickinson, who survives at home.

Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by: a son, James Michael Kinney; and a brother, Robert McDivitt.

Mary lived all her life in Johnsonburg.  She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the Johnsonburg Senior Center and Central Hose Company.

At Mary’s request, there will be no visitation and no services.

The family suggests memorials to the Johnsonburg Senior Center or the Johnsonburg Public Library; and will be accepting online condolences at the Ubel Funeral Home website (www.nedzafamilyfuneralhomes.com).
