Kaysie Lynn Mann, 24, of Spring Street, Johnsonburg, PA, died Sunday, December 10, 2017, in St. Marys, after losing her battle with addiction. She came roaring into the world on July 22, 1993, a daughter to Stephen F. Mann, of Johnsonburg and DeAnna Brooks, of Kersey. She was born with an infectious smile and laugh and she never lost it throughout her beautiful 24 years on this earth.
Along with her parents, Kaysie is survived by: her grandparents, Noreen Mann, Jean Brooks and Michael and Gloria Spangler, all of Johnsonburg; a brother, Michael E. Cherry of St. Marys; a sister, Stevie N. Mann of St. Marys; a nephew, Nyjah Mann; and an aunt, Cristal Brooks, who was her second mother. Kaysie is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, extended family, and cherished friends from around the country who loved her dearly and will miss her for the rest of their days.
She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Roger Mann and maternal grandfather, Louis Brooks.
Kaysie worked several years as a CNA with Pinecrest Manor and the past year at Comtech of St. Marys.
Kaysie, as previously mentioned, was known for her breathtaking smile and contagious laugh. She enjoyed reading, nature; going to Rimrock with her sister and friends, sitting by the fire with her Dad, and floating down the river. She enjoyed spending time with her Father, especially going on motorcycle rides with him, and just being around him. She loved being with her mother in the river down 555. She loved water, and spent a lot of time in Florida enjoying the ocean with her Aunt Cristal and sister and brother. She loved having Sunday dinners and eating her Mother’s cooking. She liked to talk, and was very outgoing. She would strike up a conversation with anyone, and talk for as long as you would let her. She was an open book, and she liked to share her stories in hopes of helping others. She loved her family and spending time with them doing various activities. Kaysie wore her heart on her sleeve, and would have given you the shirt off of her back if you asked her for it, and were in need - with absolutely zero hesitation. She was very loved by so many and will be greatly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.
There will be no visitation. The family will be receiving friends on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Ubel Funeral Home, Johnsonburg, PA. A funeral service will be held, 5:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home with Reverend Richard Glogau.
