Kathy J. (Wright) Jarvie, 67, of Weedville, passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, December 8th, 2021 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Kathy was born to Edward and Joan Turnbull on June 26th, 1954 in Ridgway, Pennsylvania.
Kathy is survived by her devoted mother, Joan Turnbull, and by her loving children, Paul (Sabine) Wright, Bryan (Jennifer) Wright, and Jessica (Rachel) Wright. Kathy is also survived by her adoring grandchildren Alisha (Robert) Jackson, Katlyn Wright, Brady Wright, by her great-grandchild, Wesley Jackson, by her siblings Ed (Trisha) Turnbull, Hope Turnbull, and Dale Turnbull, as well as several nieces and nephews. Kathy was preceded in death by her father Edward Turnbull, husband Roger Jarvie, as well as several lifelong friends and family members.
Kathy had a vibrant personality and enjoyed spending time with those she cared about. She will be lovingly remembered for her compassionate and fighting spirit, her sense of humor, belly aching laughs, quick wit, long stories, warm hugs, wonderful meals, and unconditional love.
A lifelong resident of Elk County, Kathy graduated from Saint Marys Area High School. She worked as a manager in the Retail and Service Industry for over 30 years in places such as Uni-Mart, Dollar Tree, Pizza Hut and Family Dollar where she made lifelong connections and friendships. Kathy also enjoyed participating in various bowling and dart leagues over the years. At the time of her passing Kathy was a resident of Saint Joseph’s Terrace in Weedville, where she enjoyed socializing, planning, and participating in community events.
Friends may greet the family at a visitation at the Ralph M Geer Funeral Home from 4-6pm on Monday, December 13th, 2021. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St Joseph Church of Force, PA, on Tuesday, December 14th, 2021 at 10am.
