Judy Murphy Obituary
Judy A. Murphy, age 61, of Washington Street, St. Marys, died April 13, 2023 at Penn Highlands-DuBois, after a short illness. A daughter of the late Francis and Beverly (Lowrey) Post, she was born on February 20, 1962 in Sussex, NJ.
Judy is survived by: four children, John (Becky) Post of Port Allegany, Heidi (John) Kennedy of Emporium, Jennifer (Scott Peters) Post of St. Marys and Edward Post of St. Marys’ eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four brothers, Kevin (Donette) Post of Middlebury Center, PA, Robert (Veronica) Lowrey of Ohio, Michael Lowrey of Florida and James (Emily) Lowrey of Georgia.
Judy enjoyed playing games on her phone, eating ice and spending time with her grandchildren. She was raised in Galeton, lived many years in Port Allegany and lived the past six years in St. Marys.
There will be no public visitation.
The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Ubel Funeral Home of Johnsonburg, PA.
Funeral Services will be held, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, at the Ubel Funeral Home with Reverend Donald Smith.
