Joseph Michael Winkler, 27, of Spruce Street, Force, PA, died as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Saturday, December 29, 2018. A son of Michael and Bonnie (Gray) Winkler of Hollywood, PA, he was born in DuBois on November 24, 1991.
Along with his parents, Joe is survived by his: sister, Brandi Winkler and her Fiancé, Deryk Spicher of Force and a grandfather, Harry Gray of Weedville.
He was preceded in death by: his paternal grandparents, Frank “Chow” and Dorothy Winkler, and maternal grandparents, Ernest and Beverly Gray.
Joe was a graduate of Jeff Tech and lived most of his life in Bennett’s Valley. An active member of the of the Penfield Volunteer Fire Company, he enjoyed working with the Fire Company, Tow Truck Operating and riding in Jeep’s.
There will be no visitation.
The family will be receiving friends, casually attired, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019 and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield. Funeral Services will be held, 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the funeral home with Reverend Harold Brunner.
