Joseph J. Tucker

Joseph J. Tucker, age 73, of Launer Drive, Johnsonburg, PA, died Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Penn Highlands-DuBois after a recent illness.  A son of the late Joseph A. and Virginia G. (Fields) Tucker, he was born on January 6, 1947 in St. Marys, PA.  On January 13, 1968 he married Katherine H. (Lewis), who survives at home.

Besides his parents, Joe was preceded in death by: a brother, Olin Tucker and a sister, Virginia Ferris.

Along with his wife, Joe is survived by: a son, Nathan Tucker of Johnsonburg; a brother, Daniel (Mary) Tucker of Wilcox; and a sister, Jean (Lamonte) Lewis of St. Marys.

After graduating St. Marys High School, Joe served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era.

He was a member of the St. Marys Catholic Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.  He was raised in St. Marys and lived the past forty years in Johnsonburg.

There will be no visitation.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, funeral services will be announced at a later date.
