Gloria A. (Kottcamp) Bortner

Gloria A. Bortner, age 83, of Bark Camp Road, Penfield, PA, died Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Penn Highlands-Brookville.  A daughter of the late Howard David and Marguerite Elizabeth (Clauser) Kottcamp, she was born on June 26, 1940 in Warrington Township, York County, PA.  On June 18, 1975 she married Donald E. Bortner, who survives.

Gloria is survived by: a daughter, Judy (Steve) Cole; two sons, Scott (Angie) Sutton and Terry (Brenda) Sutton; six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; five brothers, Howard, Tom, Bob, Mike and Tim Kottcamp; and four sisters, Sandy Wolf, Pat Keller, Becky Hershey and Barb Robbins.

Besides her parents, Gloria was predeceased by: a son, Billy Sutton in infancy; and two siblings in infancy, Barry and Nancy Kottcamp.

Gloria worked as a Bus Driver for York County Rabbit Transit and YATA for many years.  She enjoyed yard-sales and spending time with her family.  She was raised in Warrington Township, lived twenty seven years in Glen Rock and has been a resident of Penfield since 2002.

There will be no public visitation and services will be private.

Interment will take place in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York, PA.
