Frank Rusciolelli

Frank Rusciolelli, age 96 of Front Street, Ridgway, PA, died unexpectedly, at home, Friday, October 20, 2023.  A son of the late John P. and Annie (Allegretto) Rusciolelli, he was born on August 2, 1927 in Elmira, NY.  On January 30, 1951 he married Joan (Kneidel), who predeceased him on March 2, 2019.

Besides his parents and his wife, Frank was preceded in death by: two brothers, John and Kenny Rusciolelli; a sister, Anna Marie Graff and a granddaughter, Shimona Merced Rusciolelli.

Frank is survived by: three children, Ellen  Rusciolelli of Silver City, NM, Stephen (Jean) Rusciolelli of Kersey, PA, and Paul  (Stephanie) Rusciolelli of Dundee, OR. Eight grandchildren:  Jericho, Silver, Shabbat and Faith; two reside locally Jason Rusciolelli and Kristin (Larry) Smith, Eric and Nick Valleton of Oregon and  fourteen great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his cat, Buddy and several grand dogs that will miss him terribly. 

Frank was a true patriot, serving in the US Navy during WWII and serving as a Corporal in the US Army during the Korean War.  He worked as an Electrician at Stackpole Carbon for many years and lived all his life in Daguscahonda and Ridgway.  He was a member of the Hallton Church of Christ and the American Legion of Ridgway.  His favorite past-time was attending as many of his great-grandchildren’s school and sport events as possible.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2023 with a Celebration of Life to follow at 6:00 p.m. at the Hallton Church of Christ, Evergreen Drive, Ridgway, PA.

Interment will take place in Oakmont Cemetery of Ridgway.
