Francis Eugene “Buttons” Boults, Jr., age 75, of Stoney Hill Road, Rasselas, PA, died February 17, 2022 at Pinecrest Manor, after a short illness. A son of the late Francis Sr., and Elizabeth (Fiscus) Boults, he was born on July 12, 1946 in Kane, PA.
Francis is survived by: three children, Susan Halquist of Johnsonburg, Julie Boults of Port Allegany, and Tim (Amy) Boults of Wilcox; six grandchildren, Rylie, Ella, Sam, Aubrey, Brody and Emma; a brother, Art (Debbie) Boults of Kersey; and a sister, Linda (Steve) Beazley of Riverton, WY.
Besides his parents, Francis was predeceased by: two sisters, Betty Zilcoski and Patty Fitch.
Francis served in the US Army during Vietnam, receiving a Meritorius Performance of Duty Award in 1967. He worked as a Truck Driver most of his life, including working with John Kocjancic and Paper City Transfer, among others. Living most of his life in Rasselas, he enjoyed hunting, gardening, driving his tractor and his side-by-side, but most of all enjoyed his grandchildren.
There will be no visitation and no public services.
The family suggests memorials to the Vietnam Veterans of America, Bucktail Chapter #720 (PO box 220, St. Marys, PA 15857) and will be accepting online condolences at www.nedzafamilyfuneralhomes.com.
