Exper James “Bumper” Fox, age 83, of Caledonia, died on July 21, 2022, at home, after a two year illness. A son of the late Edward J. Fox and the late Olive (Youngmark) Spang, he was born on October 2, 1938 in Caledonia, PA. On July 19, 1957 he married Rosemary (Tesauro), who survives at home.
Along with his wife, Bumper is survived by: six children, Arbutus Fox, Edward (Daphne) Fox, Elizabeth (Don) Klein, Exper (Heather) Fox, Jr., Michael (Marlena) Fox and Joseph Fox; thirteen grandchildren, twenty seven great-grandchildren; and five siblings, Gregory Morgan, Wanda Cain, Chris Steele, Linda Geitner and Trisha Porter.
Besides his parents, Bumper was predeceased by: a brother, Richard Fox and a great-grandchild, Tristan Burke.
Bumper lived all his life in Caledonia. He worked forty three years with Keystone Powdered Metals, retiring in 1999. He was a member of the Caledonia United Methodist Church and enjoyed volunteering with the Boy Scouts Troop 183. He also enjoyed hunting and especially enjoyed camping.
Private visitation and Private Services will be held by the family.
Interment will take place in the Morningside Cemetery.
