Eva Marie (Pristello) Bertolasio

Eva Marie (Pristello) Bertolasio, age 100, of Bennetts Valley, died April 23, 2026 at Pinecrest Manor.  A daughter of the late James Vincent and Felicia (Pullice) Pristello, she was born on August 13, 1925 in DuBois, PA.  On October 31, 1946 she married Ernest “Ernie” Bertolasio, who predeceased her on December 20, 2004.

Eva is survived by two children, Beverly (Darryl) Pane of Kersey and Ernie (Tami) Bertolasio of St. Marys; a granddaughter, Michelle (Adam) Brooks and three great-grandchildren, Angela, Alison and James Brooks.

Besides her parents and her husband, Eva was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Angela Bertolasio and three brothers, James and Fred Pristello and Frank Maloof.

Eva was a Weedville High School graduate and member of St. Joseph Church.  She worked at stackpole from 1943 to 1957 and lived all her life in Bennetts Valley.  She enjoyed travelling, spending time at the Casino and visiting friends.

There will be no public visitation.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 27, 2026 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force, PA with Father Mark Mastrian, celebrant.

Interment will take place in the Church Cemetery.
