Elizabeth Nattress Obituary

Elizabeth Jane (Martin) Nattress, age 96, of Weedville, died Friday, December 10, 2021 at Pinecrest Manor, after a lengthy illness. A daughter of the late Freda Matilda (Smith) and George Clyde Martin, she was born on March 31, 1925 in Weedville, PA. In 1944 she married George Nattress, Jr., who preceded her in death in 1991.

Besides her parents and her husband, Elizabeth was predeceased by: three sisters, Marcella June Martin, Ida Elaine White and Jean Marie Challingsworth.

Elizabeth is survived by: two children, Donna Lee (Sean) Delahanty of Kentucky and Michael Arden (Doranne) Nattress of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, Joseph Nattress, Jennifer Perks, Raymond Nattress, Daniel Nattress, Clare Delahanty and Nathan Delahanty; and numerous great-grandchildren whom she dearly loved.

Elizabeth graduated Bennetts Valley Schools and Business College in Philadelphia, PA. She had three years of Seminary and was ordained in 1970. She also worked as a Secretary and an Expeditor.

There will be no public visitation.

Private services will be held by the family.

Interment will take place in the Gardner Hill Cemetery.
