Edward Martin Zuchelli, age 69, of Treasure Lake, DuBois, PA died unexpectedly, Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Penn Highlands-DuBois. A son of the late Edward “Kramer” and Lena M. (Gregori) Zuchelli, he was born on December 27, 1954 in DuBois, PA. On February 19, 1981 in St. Joseph Church of Force, he married Mary (Gies) who survives at home.
Along with his wife, Ed is survived by: two children, Dr. Toby (Dr. Eva) Zuchelli of Birmingham, MI and Jennifer Zuchelli of DuBois; six grandchildren, Dylan, Michael, Benny, Aya, Zayn and Zak; a brother, Chester “Chet” Zuchelli of State College; and a sister, Debbie (Hugo) Cenni of Brandy Camp.
Ed was raised in Force, PA and lived most of his life in Bennetts Valley and Treasure Lake. He was a graduate of St. Marys High School and received an Associate Degree in Marketing and Management from Penn State University. He retired from the Riverside Corporation Marketing Department. He was a loving, dedicated Grandfather with a great sense of humor and a true “Gift of Gab”. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and teaching local youths those sports; and also, his time at the Buttermilk Lodge. He was an avid Penn State Sports Fan and was well known for his meatballs and sauce.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2024 at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Force, PA, with Father Mark Mastrian.
