Edward R. “Mouse” Gray, age 81, of Garfield Street, Johnsonburg, PA, died Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Penn Highlands-Elk. A son of the late Amos and Sophie (Mastalski) Gray, he was born on September 13, 1942 in Spangler, PA. In 1969 he married Mary F. (Letavish) who survives in Johnsonburg.
Along with his wife, Ed is survived by: two children, Kathy McClelland of Ridgway and Mike Gray of Johnsonburg; and a sister, Shirley Klimek of Michigan.
Besides his parents, Ed was predeceased by: an infant daughter, Debra; a son-in-law, Doug McClelland; a brother-in-law, Frank Klimek; and his son’s fiancée, Katie Harvey.
Ed was born and raised in Northern Cambria and graduated Northern Cambria High School Class of 1960. He retired after working many years at Keystone Carbon. Living the past fifty three years in Johnsonburg, he was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Being a “Jack of All Trades”, he enjoyed general handiwork, woodworking, gardening, and playing and singing along with his guitar. He also enjoyed his time at “Camp” in Quehanna.
There will be no public visitation.
Private committal services will be held by the family.
