Donna M. (Lucore) Bruni

Donna M. Bruni, age 79, of Byrnedale, died Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the Lutheran Home of Kane, after a short illness. The daughter of the late Quay Glaydon and Sarah L. (Briggs) Lucore, she was born on August 19, 1943 in North Tonawanda, NY.  On September 2, 1961 she married Gerald Bruni, who predeceased her on November 29, 2000.

Besides her parents and her husband, Donna was preceded in death by: two brothers, Glaydon and Glenn Lucore.

Donna is survived by: two children, Marie (Derrick) Goode of Ridgway and Rebecca (Todd) Pfaff of Red Lion, PA; four grandchildren, Noelle, Haleigh, Kaitlyn and Morgan; and a brother, Raymond (Pam) Lucore of Tennessee.

Donna graduated from Penfield High School and lived most of her life in Bennetts Valley.  She had worked many years at Way Office Supply of DuBois.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she worked as Secretary for several years.  She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, where she had served as Secretary for her local branch.

There will be no visitation.

The family will be receiving friends on Monday, January 2, 2023 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force, PA.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 10:00 a.m., Monday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Paul Sebert.

Interment will take place in the Church Cemetery.
