Donald L. Dudley, age 88, of Caledonia, PA, died Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Penn Highlands-DuBois, after a lengthy illness. A son of the late Leroy and Vivian (Winslow) Dudley, he was born on December 4, 1932 in Benezette, PA. On July 1, 1961 he married Katharine “Kitty” (Youngmark), who survives at home.
Along with his wife, Don is survived by: two sisters, Dolores Ellenberger of New Alexandria, PA and Carol Smith of Benezette, PA; a sister-in-law, Mary Youngmark; a brother-in-law, Clayton Kunes; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special aunt, Shirley Bloom of Boardman, OH;
Besides his parents, Don was predeceased by: a sister, Shirley Kunes.
Don worked as a Gas Well Attendant for Consolidated Gas and Dominion Energy for more than fifty years. He attended St. Joseph Catholic Church with his wife Kitty and had been a member of the Bennetts Valley American Legion, the Kiwanis, and the Bennetts Valley Men’s Club. Living all his life in Bennetts Valley, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing.
There will be no public Visitation.
Funeral Services will be held, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 6, 2021, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force, PA, with Father Mark Mastrian.
Interment will take place in the Church Cemetery.
