Diane C. Myers, age 57, of Rasselas, PA, died unexpectedly, at home, October 29, 2021. A daughter of Peter Thomas and Shirley L. (Dupont) Biel of Wilcox, she was born on July 8, 1964 in Huntsville, AL.
Along with her parents, Diane is survived by: a son, Brandon Salter of Brooklet, GA; a grandson, Draak Salter; a brother, Thomas Biel of Johnsonburg; a sister, Barbara (Paul) Asti of Johnsonburg; an aunt; and numerous cousins.
Diane received her Associate Degree in Accounting from Jamestown Business College and served two years in the US Air Force. She worked many years with North Central Planning and Development and worked as a secretary for the Recycling Office and Conservation District Office in St. Marys, since 2010. Living most of her life in Rasselas, she was a member of the Wilcox Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed quilting, making many beautiful quilts; carpentry, where she was always willing to lend a hand; the outdoors, walking, gardening, and picnics with friends and neighbors.
There will be no public viewing. The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the Ubel Funeral Home of Johnsonburg.
Funeral Services will be held, 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Johnson.
Interment will take place at Parklwan Memorial Gardens of Ridgway.
