Darlene “Sue” Huber, age 68, of Elk Avenue, Johnsonburg, died at home, December 20, 2021 after a lengthy illness. A daughter of the late Edward and Thelma (Stanton) Lynch, she was born on June 15, 1953 in Ridgway, PA. On November 11, 1977 she married Robert F. Huber, who survives at home.
Besides her parents, Sue was predeceased by: two sisters, Carol Works and Bonnie Lynch.
Along with her husband, Sue is survived by: two children, John Huber of Pittsburgh and Scott (Brittany) Huber of Kentucky; one grandson, Andrew; and two sisters, Roxanne (Ray) Wile of Centerville and Linda (Bruce) Pond of Ridgway.
Sue worked at the St. Marys Hospital in the kitchen and as custodian for a few years and delivered the Courier Express Newspaper for many years. She lived all her life in Johnsonburg.
There will be no public visitation and no public services.
The family suggests memorials to the Johnsonburg Volunteer Fire Department and will be accepting online condolences at www.nedzafamilyfuneralhomes.com.
The Ubel Funeral Home of Johnsonburg has been entrusted with final arrangements.
