Clement F. McAlee, age 56, of Johnsonburg, died suddenly, September 18, 2022. A son of the late Jack and Lillian (Willow) McAlee, he was born on December 6, 1965 in St. Marys, PA. On May 12, 1990 he married Tracy A. (Zeus) who survives, at home.
Along with his wife, Clem is survived by: five children, Ryan McAlee of Florida, Nathan (Heather) McAlee of St. Marys, Mary Kate (Eric Bevacqua) McAlee of Johnsonburg, Mikayla McAlee of Florida and John “Jack” McAlee of Johnsonburg; three grandchildren, Caden Francis, Layna Rose and Maelyn Emma McAlee; three brothers, Gene A. McAlee of Johnsonburg, Kevin A (Nicole) McAlee of St. Marys and Sean (Teri) McAlee of Johnsonburg; four sisters, Donna M. (Jon) Chamoff of Maine, Mary Kay (Frank) Jovenitti of Ridgway, Denise A. (Bill) Boylan of St. Marys and Nancy E. (Bart) Nelson of Johnsonburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Clem graduated from Elk County Christian High School and attended Gannon University. He worked twenty years with American Meter and was currently working with Accu0Grind of Johnsonburg as a Training Coordinator. He was a past president and current treasurer of Central Hose Company and member of the Wilcox Sportsmen’s. He was born and raised in Johnsonburg, lived fifteen years in Nebraska and came back to Johnsonburg in 2010.
Clem liked a good story with a good laugh. He could sing “Danny Boy” as well as any Tenor around. He was an avid Notre Dame fan, member of the Steeler Nation and fan of John Wayne.
Clem will be truly missed. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews, four sisters, and three brothers, along with all his family and friends. They will all miss his stuffed mushrooms he made for every family occasion. “Rise and Shine and Give God your Glory” was his favorite motto.
There will be no public visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 26, 2022 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church of Johnsonburg, with Father David Wilson.
A celebration of life will be held, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday, at the Johnsonburg Event Center, 399 Silver Creek Road, Johnsonburg.
The family suggests memorials to the Johnsonburg Community Building and will be accepting online condolences at www.nedzafamilyfuneralhomes.com.
