Christine A. Carpin

Christine A. Carpin, age 60, of Weedville, died unexpectedly, April 22, 2023 at Penn Highlands-DuBois.

Christine is survived by: her mother, Shirley M. Stauffer; her husband, Richard Carpin; three children, Joseph L. Bauer, Nikki (Bryan) Satterly and Clarissa S. Bauer; one grandchild, Dustin (Candice) Challingsworth; one grandson, on the way; three great-granddaughters, Chesley, Makenzie and Kaitlyn Challingsworth; a sister, Susie (Ron) Gradl; several nieces and nephews; and one partner in crime, Lisa Nesbitt.

Christine was preceded in death by: her father, Fabian “Buzz” Stauffer.

She had worked for forty one years as a CNA and Unit Clerk for Elk Haven Nursing Home.  She enjoyed going to the beach, camping, Nascar races, gambling and playing cards.

There will be no public visitation.

The family will be receiving friends on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield, PA.

Funeral Services will be held, 7:00 p.m., Friday, at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home.
