Bryan S. Smoyer

Bryan S. Smoyer, 58, Penfield, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 17, 2022 at Penn Highlands in DuBois. He was born October 9, 1964 in DuBois; a son of the late Sheldon Smoyer and Gale (Lamberson) King. He married Melissa R. (Himes) on June 20, 1992, she survives in Penfield.

Bryan was a graduate of DuBois Area HS. He was born and raised in DuBois and has lived in Penfield for the last 31 years. He was a heavy equipment mechanic all his life having previously worked for Grotzinger and Elk Power of St. Marys and currently for TLPOA for the past 10 years.

In addition to his wife, Missy, he also leaves behind a sister, Shelley (Shawn) Lyon of Florida, four nephews, two nieces, a great-niece, two great-nephews, and his loving puppy Gus.

Bryan enjoyed hunting and fishing, working on his vehicles, DJing, as well as singing and performing with several local bands.

There will be no visitation.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

The Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield has been entrusted with final arrangements.
