Bonnie Marie (Kifer) Hogue, age 78, of Wilcox, PA and Indiana, died unexpectedly, Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Potomac Valley Hospital in West Virginia. The daughter of the late Ralph and Emogene (Severance) Kifer, she was born on May 31, 1947 in Niagara Falls, NY. She married William Hogue in 1993, who predeceased her in 2004.
Bonnie is survived by three children, Steve (Becky Morris) Gosciminski, Heidi (Sam) Smith, Jason Gosciminski; and six grandchildren, Clarissa Flynn, Cheyenne Gosciminski, Esther Smith, Veronica Manuel, Grace Gore and Felicity Smith; a brother Tom Kifer and her first husband, Conrad Gosciminski.
She Graduated from Kane High School and from Mansfield University. She was a member of the Johnsonburg United Methodist Church. She lived in Bradford, Kane, Kentucky, Alaska; most of her retired life in Wilcox; and the past 4 years in Indiana. She worked as a Librarian at the Johnsonburg Library and had also worked with dyslexic children. She was a Federal Employee at both, Fort Campbell, KY and Fort Richardson, AK. She enjoyed making jewelry and working on her genealogy. Always up for the next adventure, she enjoyed going on road trips or out for dinner or ice cream with her granddaughters and daughter. Also, she loved a good book or crossword puzzle.
Public visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Johnsonburg United Methodist Church.
Funeral Services will follow the visitation at the church on Monday with Reverend Mark Hurst.
Interment will take place in the Ott Cemetery of Ridgway.
