Anthony "Tony" Friday

Anthony E. “Tony” Friday, age 58, of Byrnedale, PA, died Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at his home, after a lengthy illness.  A son of Edna (Beck) Armagost and the late Francis Friday, he was born on July 17, 1965 in DuBois, PA.

Along with his mother, Tony is survived by: a brother, Russell (Lisa) Friday of California; a step-brother, Keith Armogost; a step-sister, Katie (Josh) Hamaker of Penfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his father, Tony was predeceased by: his step-father, Lennie Armagost; two brothers, Brian Friday, Sr. and Scott Friday; and a nephew, Brian Friday, Jr.

Tony graduated DuBois Area High School, served in the Army Reserves and was a member of the Bennetts Valley American Legion.  He lived most of his life in Penfield and the past ten years in Bennetts Valley.  He had worked many years as a landscaper for Beck Brothers and worked as bartender at the White Horse Tavern for many years.

There will be no visitation and private services will be held by the family.
