Aldo J. Zuchelli

Aldo J. Zuchelli, 100 of Force, Pa. passed away December 2, 2024 at Highland View Healthcare in Brockway, Pa. He was born on June 12th, 1924 in the town of Soldier, Pa. He was the son of the late Chester and Ersilia (Borosi) Zuchelli.

He lived in Soldier until the year 1931 when he moved with his dad (Chester) and Brother (Edward) to the town of Force.  He lived in Bennetts Valley the rest of his life.

During his younger years he played baseball in different leagues in Elk and surrounding counties. He was even asked to try out for a catcher's position for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

On March 11, 1943 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy during the war effort. On April 15, 1946 he was honorably discharged from the Navy. After his time in the Navy he worked as a mechanic for the owners of the Force Garage.

In 1947 he started to work at Speer Carbon (Airco). He worked there over 50 years in different positions.

In addition to his parents, Aldo was preceded in death by a sister Mary Zuchelli by a brother Edward (Lena) Zuchelli and a nephew Edward Zuchelli.

He is the last surviving member of his immediate family.

He is survived by: a Niece Deborah (Hugo) Cenni; Nephew Chester Zuchelli and Niece Mary (The late Edward M.) Zuchelli; 2 Great Nieces: Melissa (Cory) Hendrickson and children Morgan, Gwen, Toryn, Deacon and Beccah; Jennifer (Austin) Zuchelli and children Dylan, Michael and Bentley; 2 Great Nephews: Tobias (Eva) Zuchelli and children Aya, Zayn and Zak; and Christopher (Ellen) Cenni and children Avery, Winnie and Finegan.

There will be no public visitation.

Private Services will be held for the family.

He will be buried with his mother, father, and sister in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Reynoldsville, Pa.
