James K. Forsythe

James K. Forsythe, 79, of Bennetts Valley Highway, Weedville, PA, died, December 25, 2017 at Penn Highlands-Elk.  He was born on June 20, 1938 in Tyler, PA, a son of the late George and Kathryn (Webber) Forsythe.

On August 1, 1959, he married Velma E. (McClintick), who survived in Weedville, PA.

Along with his wife, Jim is survived by: a son, Todd Forsythe of Weedville; three sisters, Norma Tinker of Sabula, Patty Stelene of Weedville and JoAnn Claiber of Weedville.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, George Forsythe, Jr.

Jim served in the US Military and had worked as a mechanic with Stackpole and Carbone of St. Marys.

He is a member of the Weedville Wesleyan Church and lived all his life in Bennetts Valley.

There will be no visitation.

Private services will be held at the family’s convenience.

The Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield is entrusted with final arrangements.
