Diane C. (McClain) Haupright

Diane C. Haupright, 76, of Dill Hill, Johnsonburg, PA, died Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Penn Highlands after a short illness.  A daughter of the late Jay and Caroline (Wright) McClain, she was born on June 22, 1943 in St. Marys, PA.  On June 13, 1964 she married Douglas M. Haupright, who survives at home.

Along with her husband, Diane is survived by: two children, D. J. Haupright and Lisa (Daniel) Lechien, both of Johnsonburg; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. 

Being predeceased by her parents and a brother, Jay Dennis McClain, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Diane was born and raised in St. Marys and lived the past fifty three years in Johnsonburg.  She worked as a Nurse Aide for nursing homes in St. Marys for thirty years.  She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and enjoyed line dancing, ceramics, flowers, and especially time with her family.

There will be no visitation.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 12 p.m., Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church of Johnsonburg, PA
