Robert W. Hamaker, age 60, of Tyler Road, Penfield, PA, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family and loved ones, April 21, 2022. A son of the late Maxwell and Bettie (Miller) Hamaker, he was born on May 28, 1961 in DuBois, PA.
Rob is survived by: three children, Joshua (Katie) Hamaker of Tyler, Justin (Shannon) Hamaker of Punxsutawney and Elice (Allen) Morelock of Brookville; five grandchildren, Cassadee, Maxwell, Adalynn, Findlay and Hudson; a brother, Chuck (Marie) Hamaker of Reynoldsville; and a sister, Geraldine (Dave) DeMotte of Pittsburgh.
Rob was raised in Reynoldsville and lived most of his life in Penfield and Tyler. He worked as Park Maintenance Supervisor at Parker Dam and S.B. Elliot State Parks for twenty two years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, leisurely drives through the mountains with his beloved dog Thor, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 1:00 – 3:00p.m. and 5:00 – 7:00p.m. at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield, PA.
Funeral Services will be held, 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the Funeral Home with Father Mark Mastrian.
Interment will take place in the Reynoldsville Cemetery with his parents.
