Kathleen Janocha Obituary

Kathleen A. Janocha, age 70, of Penfield, died late, Sunday, March 24, 2024 at McKinley Health Center of Brookville, after a short illness. A daughter of the late Robert Turner and the late Joyce Pistili she was born on February 1, 1954 in Clearfield, PA.

Kathy is survived by: two children, Lewis Maines, Jr. of Pennsylvania and Joyce (Brian) Knapp of Penfield; three step-children, John Janocha of DuBois, Tina Kephart of New York and Angela Janocha of New York; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four brothers, Larry, Doug, Guido and Chris Turner; two half-brothers, Joe Turner and Robert Clemmen; a step-brother, Ron Solada; four sisters, Teresa Turner, Carrie Russell, Lisa Turner and Rachael Strength; and her former husband Lewis Maines, Sr.

Along with her parents, Kathy was predeceased by: an infant daughter, Sara Maines; two brothers, Lance and Robert Turner; a step-sister, Tina Harley; and her second husband, Henry Janocha.

Kathy was raised in Grampian and lived most of her life in the DuBois Area. She enjoyed making crafts and could be seen at many local craft shows and markets.

There will be no public visitation.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
