John A. “Jack” Wallace, age 85, of DR’s Lane, Penfield, died May 25, 2021 at home, after a lengthy illness. A son of the late Dorsey and Emma (Boughner) Wallace, he was born on November 17, 1935 in Akron, OH. On December 29, 1956 he married Lorraine (Myrtle), who survives in Penfield.
Along with his wife, Jack is survived by: three children, Patricia (Timothy) Clouser of Rockton, Thomas (Sharon) Wallace of DuBois and Judith (Tim) Wilson of Penfield; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gerald “Chape” Wallace of DuBois and Dale “Fuzz” (Addajane) Wallace of Florida; and a sister, Patricia (Gerald) Agosti of Kersey.
Besides his parents, Jack was predeceased by: two brothers, James and Thomas Wallace.
Jack attended Penn State-ICS, served four years in the US Air Force and worked as an Industrial Engineer Technician for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping, baseball, softball, bowling, lay-speaking; writing and authoring poems, one book and religious songs; singing, gardening and spending time with his family.
At Jack’s request, there will be no public visitation and services will be private.
Interment will take place in the Morningside Cemetery.
