James E. Gordon, age 68, of Mill Street, Johnsonburg, died suddenly, at home on Thursday, February 22, 2024. A son of the late Claude and Hazel (Scott) Gordon, he was born on February 2, 1956 in Ridgway, PA.
Besides his parents, Jim was predeceased by: three brothers, Joe, Jeff and John Gordon.
Jim is survived by: three children, Kristina (Scott) McAninch of Johnsonburg, J. T. (Heather) Gordon of Johnsonburg and Vicki (Brian Lippert) Gordon of Pittsburgh; seven grandchildren, Megan, Lexi, Brielle, Issac, Kierra, Mason and Bella; and three sisters, Ella Spiegel, Jean (David) Zilkofski and Joyce (Bootsie) Fox.
Living all his life in Johnsonburg, Jim graduated Johnsonburg Schools Class of 1974 and was a member of the Johnsonburg United Methodist Church. He worked twenty eight years at the Johnsonburg Paper Mill, retiring in 2001 as a Maintenance Supervisor. He enjoyed farming, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.
There will be no public visitation.
The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 1, 2024 at the Ubel Funeral Home of Johnsonburg, PA.
Funeral Services will be held, 11:00 a.m., Friday, at the funeral home with Reverend Matt Williams.
Interment will take place in Parklawn Memorial Gardens of Ridgway.
