Gary Green Obituary

Gary A. Green, age 72, of First Avenue, Johnsonburg, PA, died Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at UPMC Hamot after a short illness. A son of the late John and Bertha (Brown) Green, he was born on March 5, 1948 in St. Marys, PA.

Besides his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa (Iozzo) Green and a sister, Beverly Beers.

Gary is survived by: two children, John (Kristin) Green of Johnsonburg and Tracey (Chuck Fritz) Green of St. Marys; two grandchildren, Austin and Emily Green; and several nieces.

Born and raised in St. Marys, Gary lived most of his life in Johnsonburg. He worked most of his life with Carbon Graphite, retiring in 2006. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time at camp in Chapel Forks, his family and especially watching and listening to his Grandson’s sports games.

There will be no visitation.

Private services will be held by the family.

The family suggests memorials to the Johnsonburg Fire Company or the American Cancer Society and will be accepting online condolences at www.nedzafamilyfuneralhomes.com.

The Ubel Funeral Home of Johnsonburg has been entrusted with final arrangements.
