Francis D. “Butch” Penfield, 68, of Wilcox, PA, died Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Pinecrest Manor after a lengthy illness. A son of the late Milton and Velma (Milliard) Penfield, he was born on April 26, 1951 in Kane, PA.
Besides his parents, Butch was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Cheatle.
Butch is survived by: three children, Jesse Penfield of Oak Park, CA, Corey Penfield of Fairbanks, AK and Melissa Bruner of Brookville, PA; three grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph Penfield of Texas and Samuel Penfield of Oregon; and two sisters, Maryann Oliver and Angela Pearson, both of Wilcox.
Butch lived all his life in Johnsonburg and Wilcox, worked forty years with Keystone Carbon of St. Marys, enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening, and was known for his competition Power Lifting skills.
There will be no visitation and private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
